Sheri-Ann is currently a Student Counsellor at the Student Counselling Career and Development Centre of the Nelson Mandela University and has previously been a Student Services and Support Coordinator for students with disabilities. She occupied this position for the past 7 years until October of 2017. She obtained her undergraduate and master’s degree in Counselling psychology at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and has experience in teaching, student counselling, training and the facilitation of group interventions. The co-owner of a consultancy training and development company called 3D Consulting, which provides training and team building experiences, for a wide variety of industries. She is also the co-owner of Agape coffee shop in Uitenhage.
Sheri-Ann has found different ways throughout her life to be resourceful and creative in helping others live a better life, or appreciate the one they have. She believes that circumstances and people alike have the potential to change with the right influence. Therefore even during her studies she has worked with various organisations to do just that: create awareness and insight to affect change.
Sheri-Ann has participated in various community driven projects and her passion for training has steered her to be involved in various leadership roles. She also facilitates youth development programs and other initiatives related to early childhood development, HIV/AIDS, disability awareness and etiquette, to name a few.
